Forgive me for my tardiness! I was ill for the past two weeks. I got me a nasty virus, ARGH. ;__; I planned to update a week ago, but alas! T__T (I'm a bit better in case you're wondering ^^;)
People, people! Where were my comments? =O Twenty including my replies in the previous rotation while my counter displays hundreds of hits, mostly from the US of A. It's bloody ridiculous! No excuse, guys, no excuse. You guys can speak bloody english can't you? I would understand if you're from Japan or wherever else but seriously... *sigh* I don't like ranting about lack of comments. I annoy myself and I know I annoy you. So I'll shut up for now.
Anywhos, on to more light-hearted news... today is the 8th of July! And to think, 39 years ago, a baby was born, who grew up to be one of the most talented, most amazing, most sexiest god man alive. Yes, everyone, TODAY IS SUGIZO's BIRTHDAY!!! :DDD

Notes: Last rotation I posted up the original Marry of the Blood and it turned out to be quite a hit -- it was one of the most frequently downloaded songs last I checked! ^-^ Anywhos, here is the remix that I also mentioned, which is also pretty awesome!~ It's sukoshi industrial-sounding and chotto heavy, plus the vocalist (Hizumi was it?) sounds like a deranged demon so brace yourselves if you plan to listen to this at full volume! It's quite an experience, I must say (yes, I did it and my ears had a ringing sound for about 15 minutes XD;;). Recommended... sort of x3

Notes: I had such a hard time deciding which FAKE? song to rotate and finally I narrowed it down to two and then I just gave up and rotated both XD I only just recently fell in lust (It has to be lust since Sugizo has ALL my love *cackles* XD) with this song. Notes: OK, this is going to sound completely ridiculous, but my favourite bit in this song is when this cute voice (of which I strongly suspect is our beloved Ken's XD) goes "F**k you!" somewhere in this song. Whenever I listen to this song I actually look forward to that bit so that I could say "F**k you!" along with that voice. Oh dear god. Notes: I seriously thought I've rotated this song already XD;; It's kind of interesting that both ex-guitarists of Luna Sea like experimenting with electronics so much! More so INORAN from what I've heard, in some songs, he hardly plays the guitar at all while SUGIZO-- well you ought to know how SUGIZO's music sounds by now XD Aaaanywhos, this is a lovely instrumental piece with some very cool sounds! I usually play this song when I'm studying, it has a good beat and it's really quite soothing. Try it out! INORAN's pretty cool. :D

Notes: Ooooh!!! This is the first song I fell in love with when I listened to the Core album! It is really quite a good album! On first impression, it's as good as the Shizuku album and we all know how awesome the Shizuku album was! The title of this song, which means "1st April" really reminds me of April! And spring! And warmth! (Which I sorely miss! Because it's bloody winter where I'm living right now! >__<) I truly love this song! Recommended!

I always feel sad when I hear this song because I always feel that this is their last song, their 'farewell song' if you get what I mean. Notes: Ah, the violins makes me positively shiver! The intro ofthis song is so heavy in atmosphere, you feel sucked in by its intensity-- it's suffocating. Notes: Now, with a line-up of the Sakamotos and SUGIZO, you can be DAMNED SURE that this is going to be one GORGEOUS song. Featuring the glassy, angelic voice of Miu Sakamoto (Sakamoto-san's DAUGHTER, see the connection? Genius must run in the family XD) that some of you may have heard back in Rotation #27 when I rotated Sleep Away, which similar to this song, was composed by SUGIZO (This man is SUCH a genius~ *siiigh* ♥) and the electronica GOD Sakamoto-san, this is a beautiful, beautiful song. I feel like I'm floating on a cloud whenever I hear this song. And there is something watery about the melody too... so amazing. Highly recommended. :D

Notes: I'm not that big a fan of Meeves, but ever since this single came out I revised my judgment of him. Like, hey, if SUGIZO could work with him and produce an awesome single such as this, WELL. :D An awesome song and if you're a true fan of SUGIZO (such as I *cackles* XD) you MUST have this song. I love the combination of acoustic and electric in this song -- absolutely brilliant I say. Meeves has always been decent with the acoustic guitar -- my favourite album of his is Miyabi-uta after all :D Highly recommended.

Notes: I was very surprised by this all-girl band! This is the ONLY all-girl Japanese band I actually adore! I love the vocals and the music-- they are very cute and not too sweet! Think the pillows but with a female vocalist. One thing about Pop Chocolat that I have noticed: the bass is very prominent in all their songs. I remember I first fell in love with Hikouki and when I got their Niji Iro Falsetto album, visitor was the first track and I totally fell for this song. Very cute! Check these girls out! :D

Notes: I admit, I have never heard the original 1000 knife, so I can't compare. But this cover is simply astouding, absolutely brilliant. I see stars, I swear. SUGIZO once again amazes us with his passionate guitar skills, this song is packed, PACKED, with heavy, funky electrical goodness. The guitars are absolutely insane I tell you -- a maddening, beautiful, suffocating song. Very highly recommended.

Notes: I'm just consistently inconsistent... Ah! This is my favourite out of all the Hot Hot Heat songs that I've heard. This Canadian band is pretty decent, I love their cheeky lyrics and their music is pretty good too! The Elevator album is not bad, although most of the songs that I really like are from Make up the Breakdown, such as Oh, Goddamnit and No, Not now~ :D Middle of Nowhere is such an addictive song for me, and if you've never tried out Hot Hot Heat, I reckon this is a good song to start with! :D

Notes: Truly, I would never listen to anything by Vivian Hsu if I didn't have the right 'incentive' (i.e. SUGIZO) XD This is a gorgeous song, and not simply because I am a huge fan of SUGIZO and I love anything the man produces, but this is actually an extremely decent song. This song is like a storm, fast, furious, frightening. Hsu's voice is also decent, it suits the song quite well. Highly recommended.
